"...when God created the universe, Cephalonia and so many other places..."
The largest of the Ionian Islands is a mighty experience to the senses. Tall, densely wooded mountain tops crashing into the intense blue color of the Ionian Sea, caves leading into earth's depths while lightened by the sun, countless smaller or larger beaches with white sand or gleaming white pebbles, the aroma of the agrabeli bush, and mother nature showing off at every turn. And when the visitor is convinced that he/she has seen all the different aspects of the scenery, it is then that he/she is confronted with the next contrast, confirming the uniqueness of this land.
And if this were not enough, we warn you that the island is inhabited by....Cephalonians. You will be captured by their quick spirit, cosmopolitan mood, peculiar personalities and innate hospitality.
